Dr Douglas Head - CEO Douglas Head was born into the AST organisation as a third generation family concern. He became exclusively involved in 1985 and remains passionately committed to this day. Douglas has a degree in Medicine and a Masters in Health Planning and continues as a practising Medical Practitioner. He is a past President of the National Association of Forest Industries and is currently President of the Kendall National Violin Competition inc. Douglas has a passion and love for researching and collecting wine, travel, food, art, snow skiing, Japan and his family. He is an avid West Tigers supporter. |

Allan Hutley – General Manager Allan has been working with AST for the last 12 years. In 2009 he accepted the role of Processing Manager which led to the Production Managers role in 2010 where he was exposed to Managing production across the site. In March 2011 Allan accepted the role of General Manager for AST where he currently sits as an enthusiastic, genuine team player committed to a long successful future with AST. I love cricket, indoor cricket, golf, tenpin bowling and fishing. I like spending time with family and friends and also playing sports with my mates on weekends. |

Wayne Hutley – Sales Manager Wayne has been associated with AST for approximately 20 years. His work initially was in the transport department. He has worked in many areas of AST including OH&S, staff recruitment and logistics leading up to his position today as Sales Manager. Wayne is a fantastic asset to AST with his ability to deal with people from all walks of life and professional levels. I am a Golfing Fanatic! I love to spend time with my wife and family, cook and experiment with food. I enjoy meeting people and building relationships. |

Sue Hutchinson – Safety Manager Sue joined AST in July 2010 in the accounts/payroll team. The position of OH&S officer became available in October 2010 and Sue accepted the role. Sue is currently half way through a Diploma in OH&S and she also holds a bachelor of arts degree. Sue enjoys the challenges and craziness of filling both the OH&S and Payroll functions in the company. I enjoy travel, the garden, the beach, yoga, family, friends and a good red wine. Mostly I just love life.... its such an adventure. My personal goal for AST is to have the Safest and Happiest Workforce on the Mid North Coast. |

David Head – Accounts and Business Opportunities Manager David has been with AST since 2005 when he commenced as the National Sales and Marketing Manager. He is now in the position of Accounts and Business Opportunities Manager and is based in Sydney. He holds a Bachelor of Economics degree and a Diploma of Wood Technology. My Loves: With a big family married with 6 children and one grand child I enjoy all things family with my wife Ree. Keen follower of all sports especially Cricket, Rugby codes and AFL being a keen follower of the Waratahs and local Rugby, The mighty Tigers in Rugby League and Sydney Swans in AFL. Hobbies include -Water Colour painting, Crosswords, Cooking and reading. I like to keep fit by walking, swimming and snow skiing. |

Michael Borger – Sales and Logistics Michael has been with AST for 5 yrs. After previously working for another Kempsey business house for nearly 10 years he mastered the fine art of customer service and business skills. Michael joined AST on 17th July 2006 starting as a data input clerk and payroll officer progressing quickly to more advanced admin roles. He is now responsible for the smooth running of our IT, sales and logistics functions. I could not live without Music - mainly Country... but every kind has its place. I love pasta, dairy products, cooking for the family and Country life. |

Lisa Head – Business Support Manager Lisa has been with AST for over 25 years in many and varied roles. She holds degrees in French and English Literature, Art History and a Masters in Curatorship of Modern Art. She began at AST with her husband in 1985 and has worked in many areas of the business from payroll, accounts, administration and marketing through to management, business strategy and working with industry groups. I love my family and friends, cooking, travel, art, people and having fun. I believe AST can be a vibrant and happy workplace with a commitment to producing and selling a naturally beautiful, sustainable product resourced and manufactured right here in Australia. |

Lexie Hudson – Office Co-Ordination Lexie joined AST in 2010 and has a wealth of experience with many other industries including banking, clubs and even owning her own restaurant. Her solid accounting and admin skills and warm persona make her the perfect first point of contact for staff and customers alike. I have been with AST for 12 months and enjoy working with a great team of people. I am proud to be associated with AST and the all Australian product produced here. I love interacting and sharing a joke with customers, suppliers and my work colleagues. I also love enjoying a BBQ with family, community events, travel, the beach and bush and my pet parrot. |
